Hi from DC! We have had a pretty busy week, but it was great. We
found and met some new investigators and are pretty excited about some
of them! One guy we tracted into was not very happy to see
us, but the rest of the people were very nice.

C. is doing great! We had an amzing lesson with her and her recent
convert son was there too. She is progressing a lot faster now and is
starting to think about baptism. She is ready for baptism but needs to
get married so she is talking to her boyfriend this week. It was a
great lesson.

F. is doing well. She pays really good attention to our lessons and
asks a lot of questions and she seems to understand everything. She
just has a few doubts but we are excited to keep working with her and
helping her learn more. She is a self-referral and started learning
about the church from an old friend.

This transfer we have been looking for a family to teach, and an
member told us about his nephew and his family, they came to church
and seemed to like it. We are excited to keep working with them.

Also this last week I hit my half way mark! So crazy!!

DC has been an awesome area. We have found a few smaller areas of DC
with a lot of Spanish speakers, and they are so nice and inviting. It
has been a great opportunity to get to meet and talk with a bunch of
different people.

We met a new investigator, M. this week, We were in her apartment
building talking to someone in the hall and she comes walking super
fast around the corner balancing a giant box of 36 cans of iced tea on
her head, walking from side to side quickly trying to keep it
balanced. We say hi to her and she opens the door to her apartment and
tells us to come in. So we just walked in after her. We talked to her
and her husband. They said the elders used to come by years ago, but
they are interested in hearing our message again. We set up a return
appointment, they were nice we are excited to go back.

Thanks for everything!
Hasta luego!
